Interested in the software products that LithoTect® competes with? There are really only three other restoration and balancing applications that can be considered for practical 'industry' and academic research use. We certainly think that LithoTect® is superior to all of them - easier to use, more functionality, algorithms that are more realistic and better suited to actual rock deformation, greater platform support, and significantly less expensive. But here are links to the other products - each site has good information and provides additional background on why structural analysis, restoration, and kinematic modeling are important elements in building an accurate and viable subsurface interpretation.
